A Therapeutic Approach
During our sessions, I will often and encourage you to think deeply about reoccurring issues from your life, whether these issues revolve around depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc. When these issues begin to reoccur in your life outside of therapy, your thinking will slowly take more critical perspective. This is one of many techniques from Cognitive Behavioral therapy to create an increased amount of insight, which will allow you to make better decisions. These positive decisions will create more positive thoughts and overall positive mood. My Approach is to help you understand your goals and achieve these goals by becoming more aware of your feelings, actions, and thoughts.
